If you are still searching for the Ancient Memories in Avowed, they are hiding here. Finding the Ancient Memories in Avowed will give you new Godlike powers, so it’s worth tracking them down. The scenes also give you a better insight into Sapadal’s past, helping you make an informed decision when it comes time to decide what to do with them.
There is one ancient memory for each region of Avowed’s map. This includes The Garden, so make sure not to rush through this final area without finding everything you want from it. Most of these Ancient Memories appear close to important landmarks and other quests, making it easy to travel back to them if you missed them the first time through an area.

Ancient Memory Location In Dawnshore
The Ancient Memory In Dawnshore Can Be Tracked With A Side Quest
The first Ancient Memory is also the easiest to find. After a few nights spent in Dawnshore, Sapadal will visit you in your dreams, and they will tell you about a memory of theirs in the area. This will add the quest “The Call of the Past” to your quest log. I simply tracked the quest, which took me to the Dawnshore Ancient Memory location.

Avowed's Attempt To Fix Skyrim Cities Only Makes The Problem More Obvious
Avowed attempts to solve Skyrim’s major issues with its cities, but, in doing so, unfortunately, falls short and only makes the problem more obvious.

The memory is located directly east of The Rise Party Camp, so you can easily travel there. Once at the camp, you will see a stone archway with a large tree root growing into it directly to your east. Walk through the archway, and you will be in the area for the memory. Make sure you’re healed up and ready for a fight because you will have to face some skeletons as soon as you’re done watching the memory.
Watching the memory gives you the Godlike Ability, Remembrance of Kishamal. This is a passive ability that increases your maximum Health by 10%. Each memory comes with a new Godlike Ability that gives you a stat boost. It's, therefore, worth collecting them all for that and help with Avowed's major endgame choice.
Ancient Memory Location In Emerald Stair
Emerald Stair’s Memory Is At The Top Of The Ranger Outpost
The Ancient Memory in Emerald Stair is at the top of the Ranger Outpost in The Wildwoods. The Ranger Outpost has its own fast-travel location, so it is easier to return here if you left previously without grabbing the memory. If you haven’t found it yet, the Ranger Outpost is west of Fior across the river. Once you find the Low Forest Clearing Beacon, you will see a large tree with some structures. You can climb up to the outpost starting on the northeast side of the tree.
The memory is at the top of the outpost, but you can climb ladders to take you up. Just keep following through the structure; the path is pretty much linear. Once you are at the top of the outpost, you will see the memory and a marker will be added to your map. Watching this memory will give you the Remembrance of Enhekala, which raises your maximum Essence by 10%.
Ancient Memory Location In Shatterscarp
Shatterscarp’s Memory Can Be Found By Taking The Bounty On Chieftan Grithan
Like the Emerald Stair memory, the Shatterscarp Ancient Memory is located at the top of a tall structure. Unlike the one in Emerald Stair, this one is populated by hostile Xaurips, so you should come ready for a fight. If you want a quest marker to bring you to this location, you can pick up the bounty on Chieftan Grithan in Thirdborn. Otherwise, you can travel east from the city’s entrance into the Great Sand Sea.

There are tons of different types of armor in Avowed, and which you pick will depend on your build and class. Here are the ones to look for.
Stick nearer to the coast until you see a large rock pillar with some Xaurip paintings and structures. To find your way up the rock, a ramp on the east side should begin winding its way up.
There will be a broken bridge you have to jump across, but after that, your path is pretty straightforward.
Just keep following the path as it winds its way up the rock until you reach a camp where you’ll have to fight Chieftan Grithan.
Once the fight is over, you will see a higher peak on the south side of the rock pillar. There is a path starting on the west side of the rock that you can climb up to find the memory. This memory gives you the Godlike Ability Remembrance of Nimanna, which increases your max Stamina by 10%.
Ancient Memory Location In Galawain's Tusk
The Galawain’s Tusk Memory Is In The Slumbering Fields
The Galawain’s Tusk Ancient Memory is located in the Slumbering Fields region of the map to the far west. The easiest way to find this region and the Ancient Memory is to do the “Boundaries of Antiquity” side quest. While it isn’t necessary to complete it, this quest will guide you almost to the memory. Once you get to the point of the quest where you are tasked with clearing the blocked Aqueduct, you can see the memory from the ridge you are on.

Why You Should Collect All Available Quests In Avowed
Avowed has a lot of available quests in each of the game's main cities. While it may be tempting to explore, it is best to collect all quests first.
To get to the memory, you must go through a spider-infested cave located just north of it. Fight through the cave, and you will find yourself on a small ridge looking at the memory. This memory will award you with the Remembrance of Maru ability, which increases your attack damage by 10%.
Ancient Memory Location In The Garden
The Garden Ancient Memory Is Past Avowed’s Point Of No Return
The final Ancient Memory is located in The Garden. You can grab the others in any order, but since this one is past Avowed’s point of no return, you must get it last if you want to collect them all. It is easy to miss this memory, so look for paths other than those laid out by the main quest marker.
The memory can be found once you enter the Broken Aqueduct area of The Garden. After fighting off the enemies in the area, Sapadal will use their power to raise pieces of the broken structure so you can climb on and continue your quest. Before climbing up, look around for a door with a purple glowing ball over it. Enter through the door, and you will find the last Ancient Memory overlooking an expanse.
Avowed’s final Ancient Memory will give you the Remembrance of Sapadal, which constantly regenerates your health below 50%. This can be a very helpful Godlike Ability, especially since it helps counteract health-draining effects like poison. This memory may also be the most important for helping you make your final decision in the game, so it’s worth watching.
